Vintage 1940’s Japanese Folding Bamboo Purse Basket

Vintage 1940’s Japanese Folding Bamboo Purse Basket Sadly this purse is missing the original handles. Replacement handles can be purchased online or it could be used as a basket.  The inside of the folding bamboo purse is stamped Made in Japan. This bamboo purse has red wooden knobs where the basket hinges. Otherwise the entire piece is in neutral colors. Other than the missing handles this is in great condition. Approximately 9″ x 16″ and 10″ tall Please note that vintage items are sold “as is” and as found.  Items have not been cleaned. Normal age-appropriate wear may be present.
