Description Compatibility: The Phonak xReceiver Retention Locks are compatible with Phonak xReceiver Wires, that are compatible with a wide range of Phonak hearing aids, including, but not limited to, Phonak Belong, Venture and Quest hearing aids. Please note, these are not compatible with the newer Phonak 4.0 Receiver Wires, these will need the Phonak 4.0 SDS Retention Locks. How to Identify the Correct Size: You will need to select the same size Retention Locks as the Power of your current receiver. For example, if you use a Standard Power Receiver, you will need ‘Standard’ Retention Locks. If you are unsure on what power receiver you are using, you will need to remove the dome off the end of the receiver. Where the dome usually sits on the receiver body, there will be a number and letters on one side, for example ‘2xS’. The ‘2’ indicates the size/length of the receiver wire, and the ‘S’ stands for Standard Power! The powers available are ‘Standard’ (S) and ‘Power’ (P). You will need to remove your domes before fitting! How do I know when to change them? You will know when they need changing as the plastic gets brittle and hard over time. Once this begins to happen, it is time to change to a new Sports Lock! There is no set time on this, as it can vary due to lots of different factors.
